Mind At Work

Everyday more than one question sprouts in the mind about endless things. Some questions linger by while some fade away, thanks to my blessed memory. It is not always possible to catch them in print before memory plays its tricks.

As if life needed to get any more queer, mind is constantly thinking. I have wondered so many times if that was really possible, but being otherwise seemed remotely a possibility either. The trouble is not that it constantly thinks, the trouble is when it learns to think analytically and therefore becomes conditioned to question. Once conditioned, it is difficult to think or accept seemingly non-pragmatic or unreasonable answers or even conditions.

And so Mr. Lucy comes to play with the mind, and humankind who can reason only with the limited knowledge that they have, are made to believe in their partial knowledge that God is a construct, not just a construct, they dare to believe that God is a construct of humans! This is the reason mind is indeed a battlefield of faith.

For those who do not believe that God exists, I have this to say: It is fair enough that you search for meaning in life and that you do not accept others views of who God is and if he really exists. It is even good that you are still searching and do not believe in anything yet. However, I am sure that everyone agrees that whatever humans know is incomplete, if that be true, how can you say that God does not exist. If you believe that you have failed to prove his existence, I would say that you have also so far not succeeded to prove his absence. When your search is not complete, how can you come to a conclusion so absolute.
